De 2004 à 2006, pendant la préparationd e son nouvel album, c'est surtout dans des publicités que va apparaitre Christina ...une occasion de revenir sur le marketing Christina Aguilera. Son image fait vendre, au grand bonheur des plus grosses enseignes...


COCA COLA :
Avant de devenir le porte parole de la marque de boisson gazeuses Pepsi, Christina promouvait la multinationale Coca Cola. A l'époque, 2 spots TV ont été réalisés : un pour l'Amérique du Nord sur "Come On Over Baby"et l'autre pour l'Amérique Latine sur "Ven Conmigo" le tout autour d'une mise en scène peu recherchée qui a cependant provoqué un impact médiatique. A l'époque Britney Spears avait elle aussi fait une publicité mais pour Pepsi ce qui alimentera une fois de plus la rumeur sur leur "rivalité".


MOTOROLA :
Durant l'année 2003, Christina a entamé la promotion de la marque de téléphonie mobile Motorola. Il s'agit de sa seconde publicité pour ce type d'accessoires.


NBA :
Après les poupées Barbie, les boissons gazeuses, les vêtements, parfums, téléphones portables et autres produits dérivés, Christina se lance dans le sport et pas n'importe lequel puisqu'elle choisit de faire la promotion de son nouveau single "Fighter" au sein de la nouvelle saison des jeux NBA 'Love It Live'. En définitive c'est un spot tonique de 90 secondes qui a été réalisé pour promouvoir cette saison à chaque coupure de publicité.


SKETCHERS :
Pour l'automne 2004, Christina est la nouvelle porte-parole d'un fabricant de chaussures pour lequel elle a eu l'occasion de jouer le rôle d'une étudiante aguichante. La star en effet été associée au fabricant américain Skechers pour l'ensemble de ses publicités mondiales (Sketchers est une marque déstinée aux ados et personnes sportives essentiellement ainsi qu'aux enfants). Les annonces de cette campagne « Naughty And Nice » montraient la chanteuse dans des poses risquées (infirmière, professeur, policière, étudiante ou délinquante juvénile).


VERIZON :
Après avoir venté les merites de la marque de portable Motorola, Christina s'associe avec d'autres personnalités américaines issues de la musique et du sport pour promouvoir le tout nouveau mobile V-Cast de la marque américaine Verizon, lors d'une pubblicité exceptionnelle d'une durée de 59 secondes, uniquement diffusée lors du superbowl aux Etats-Unis.


VIRGIN MOBILE :
Avec Virgin Mobile, Christina nous offre ici sa première prestation pour un opérateur de téléphonie mobile. A l'origine les publicitaires avaient demandé a Chrstina d'etre nue pour la scène. Cette dernière ayant refusé, un tout autre concept, habillé cette fois a été mis au point. Le résultat est très rigolo. La publicité reste une de ses plus originales en terme de scénario mais pour vous faire une idée rien de tel que la vidéo elle même disponible sur le site de l'opérateur : www.xtina-spotted.com


MERCEDES :
"Suivez votre étoile" tel est le thème de la campagne de présentation de la nouvelle Mercedes Classe A. L'un des moments phares de cette campagne : un rallye-croisière qui a rassemblé au total 400 exemplaires de la nouvelle compacte Mercedes et auquel ont participé des conducteurs et conductrices de 24 pays ayant tous posé leur candidature sur Internet. Le Star Tour a débuté le 6 septembre 2004 (le 4 dans certains pays du sud de l'Europe). Empruntant les routes du rêve, il a conduit les participants jusqu'à Milan, où Mercedes-Benz a organisé le 9 septembre un grand Gala de clôture auquel ont participé des personnalités aussi célèbres que la chanteuse Christina Aguilera et le créateur de mode Giorgio Armani, lors d'un concert privé et d'un défilé. D'autres personnalités comme Lara Fabian, Boris Beker ou encore Jean Alesi ont assisté à cette soirée placée sous le signe de l'intensification du dialogue par-dessus les frontières. Christina Aguilera s'est associée à la présentation mondiale et à la campagne de communication de la nouvelle Classe A en lancement de son nouveau single : Hello, un titre qui décline à sa façon le leitmotiv de la campagne Mercedes : "Suivez votre étoile".


XPOSE :
Après de nombreuses stars, c'est au tour de Christina Aguilera de lancer son premier parfum Xpose sur le marché ! Pas de grand tapage médiatique autour de cet objet dérivé si ce n'est une publicité ventant les mérites du parfum autour du slogan 'A touch of mystery...'


SONY ERICSON :
Sony Ericsson a annoncé le vendredi 3 mars 2006 avoir scellé un partenariat marketing en Europe avec Orange (la branche de téléphonie mobile de France Télécom) afin de promouvoir son combiné Walkman qui intègre les fonctions de téléphone et celles de baladeur numérique. "La musique est une priorité stratégique clé pour Orange en 2006", explique dans un communiqué Frank Boulben, le responsable du marketing d'Orange. Les deux groupes précisent que tous les nouveaux modèles de la gamme Walkman porteront à la fois les marques du fabricant de téléphones portables et de l'opérateur mobile. En complément de leur partenariat, Sony Ericsson et Orange indiquent qu'ils prévoient d'assurer pendant neuf mois le sponsoring européen de Christina Aguilera, notamment en proposant aux abonnés d'Orange un accès aux derniers vidéo clips et morceaux de la chanteuse américaine.

En octobre 2004 Christina et Missy Elliot reprennent à nouveau un tube de légende plutot funky "Car Wash" réinventé pour la B.O du dessin animé Gang de Requins.

Christina revient donc à ses premiers amours apres la B.O du dessin animé Mulan en 1998 qui l'avait révélée au monde entier.

En revanche le personnage de Christina apparait ici dans le film, sous la forme d'une méduse qui donne un concert...plutot amusant...

Une fin d'année chargée pour Christina qui sort en novembre 2004 le titre Tilt Ya Head Back en duo avec le rappeur Nelly (et qui apparait sur son album "Sweat").

Le titre suit les influences que Christina a toujours revendiqué et qu'elle revendique de plu en plus; une inspiration jazzy, blues...
Le clip est lui aussi imprégné de cet ésprit rétro dans lequel Christina joue la pin-up des années 30 au bras d'un gangster recherché par la police (Nelly)

Le duo se presentera sur scène lors des Video Music Awards 2004. Le coté Marilyn de Christina fera sensation...
